Abstract：Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH)is a rare disease caused by abnormal hyperplasia of Langerhans cells.The skeletal system is often involved.The radiological findings usually resemble vertebral tumors and tuberculosis,final diagnosis needs to be examined by pathology,and treatment methods are usually varied,surgical treatment can achieve good results.One case of LCH in the adult lumbar spine was cured with surgery,and the literatures related to this disease were searched.To investigate the diagnosis,clinical features and therapy of LCH in the adult lumbar spineand improve the understanding of LCH.
