Application effect of self-made Changpu Yizhi Decoction combined with embedding needle therapy on the treatment of mild cognitive impairment after stroke

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of self-made Changpu Yizhi Decoction combined with embedding needle therapy in the treatment of mild cognitive impairment (MCI)after stroke.Methods A total of 80 patients with MCI after stroke treated in Rushan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2020 to September 2022 were selected as the study subjects,and they were divided into control group (40 cases)and observation group (40 cases)according to the random number table method.The patients in the control group were treated with Adibenzoquinone Tablets+conventional medicine,while the patients in the observation group were treated with Adibenzoquinone Tablets+conventional medicine+self-made Changpu Yizhi Decoction combined with embedding needle therapy.The clinical efficacy,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,cognitive function,quality of life and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.Results The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups before treatment in the traditional Chinese medicine syndromes scores,mini-mental state examination (MMSE)and stroke impact scale(SIS)scores (P＞0.05).After treatment,the scores and total scores of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the scores and total scores of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the scores of MMSE and SIS in the two groups were higher than those before treatment,and the scores of MMSE and SIS in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There were no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups.Conclusion The treatment of MCI after stroke patients with self-made Changpu Yizhi Decoction combined with embedding needle therapy can improve cognitive function,relieve clinical symptoms,and improve the quality of life of patients,with significant effect and good safety,which is worthy of promotion.
