Abstract: Shoulder pain with limited range of motion is main feature of frozen shoulder,it′s one of common and frequently-occurring diseases of middle-aged and elderly people in today′s society. In recent years, the disability of frozen shoulder imposed a heavy burden on the national and social medical undertakings, which seriously threatens human health.Although there are relevant research literatures describing the physiological and pathological mechanism of frozen shoulder, however, there still have large differences in the specific factors and the explanation of the cause of the disease related to frozen shoulder.Affect the patients′ lives are shoulder pain and limited range of motion.Recent studies found that inflammation, fibrosis and cytokines are closely related to pain and limited range of motion in frozen shoulder patients. Therefore, this study aims to explore the relationship between inflammation, fibrosis and cytokines with frozen shoulder to clarify the causes and provide a theoretical basis for reducing the pain and increasing the range of motion of frozen shoulder patients. This article studies the relationship between inflammation, cytokines, fibrosis and frozen shoulders. It′s found that inflammation and cytokine factors are closely related to patients′ shoulder pain, and fibrosis is closely related to patients′ decreased range of motion.
