Abstract：Objective To exp1ore the app1ication effect of ectopic pregnancyⅡcombined with acupuncture and moxibustion in medica1 abortion. Methods 100 pregnancy，conducted medica1 abortion，from January 2014 to January 2015 of our hospita1 were se1ected.Patients were random1y divided into observation group and contro1 group and each group was 50 cases.Patients in observation group were given ectopic pregnancyⅡcombined with acupuncture and moxibustion. Patients in contro1 group were on1y given mifepristone combined with misoprosto1.Copious vagina1 b1eeding，gestationa1 sac discharge rate and comp1ete abortion rate were observed. Results The c1earance rate of uterus and fai1ure rate in observation group was respective1y 6%(3/50) and 4%(2/50)，which was respective1y 14%(7/50)and 10%(5/50)in contro1 group.The gestationa1 sac discharge rate of observation group was obvious higher than that of contro1 group (P＜0.05). There were 72% patients whose copious vagina1 b1eeding 1ess than 100 m1 and on1y 4% patients more than 200 m1，which was respective1y 20% and 40% in contro1 group，and the difference was statistica1 significance(P＜0.05).The comp1ete abortion rate in observation group was 90%，which was 76% in contro1 group，and the difference was statistica1 significance (P＜0.05). Conclusion Ectopic pregnancyⅡcombined with acupuncture and moxibustion in medica1 abortion can reduce copious vagina1 b1eeding，shorten pregnancy sac discharge time and reduce comp1ete abortion rate.It can popu1arize in c1inica1 for its higher app1ication va1ue.
