Abstract：Moral cultivation is the fundamental task of college education, and curriculum ideological and political education is an important measure to achieve moral cultivation, through the ideological and political construction of courses can realize the educational function of professional courses. Obstetrics and gynecology nursing is the core curriculum of the nursing major. The teachers of the curriculum team work together to excavate ideological and political materials, in order to form a complete curriculum ideological and political teaching resource system. This article firstly expounds the necessity of ideological and political development of nursing courses in obstetrics and gynecology. Comprehensive quality and clinical nursing quality are directly related to maternal and infant health. Secondly, the ideological and political construction of the obstetrics and gynecology nursing courses is introduced from four aspects: the ideological and political education model, the ideological and political theme, the integration plan of ideological and political materials and the implementation effect. Finally, according to the ideological and political construction of the obstetrics and gynecology nursing courses, the prerequisites for better ideological and political education for this course are put forward:strengthening the ideological and political concepts of the professiona teachers, optimizing the teaching syllabus and teaching plan, and using a variety of teaching methods and means. This research explored the collaborative education and teaching methods of professional courses and ideological and political courses, so as to effectively integrate knowledge transfer and value guidance, help the ideological and political construction of obstetrics and gynecology nursing courses, and promote the all-round development of students.
