Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of the high-fidelity laparoscopic simulation teaching and training system in the clinical teaching of general surgery. Methods A total of 60 undergraduates who practiced in the Department of General Surgery of Shenzhen University General Hospital from October 2020 to October 2021 were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group and the study group by random number table method, with 30 students in each group. The interns in the control group received conventional teaching and training mode, while the interns in the study group received high simulation laparoscopic simulation teaching and training system. The scores of assessment, teaching satisfaction, learning interest and learning autonomy were compared between the two groups. Results After training, the scores of cutting, nail transfer and hand movements in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the time of knot tying and connecting suture were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The teaching satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in the scores of learning interest and learning autonomy between the two groups before training (P>0.05). The scores of learning interest and learning autonomy in the study group after training were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion For general surgery undergraduate interns, adopting a high-fidelity laparoscopic simulation teaching and training system can promote the improvement of interns′professional skills, strengthen interns′ learning enthusiasm and initiative, and improve interns′ satisfaction with teaching methods, which has certain value.
