Application effect of the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery in thoracoscopic surgical nursing of lung cancer

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery in thoracoscopic surgical nursing of lung cancer. Methods A total of 80 patients with thoracoscopic lung cancer surgery admitted to the Affiliated People′s Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2019 to November 2020 were selected as the study subjects, and they were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received rapid rehabilitation surgical concept intervention on the basis of routine nursing. The incidence of complications, perioperative indexes and lung function indexes were compared between the two groups. Results The total incidence of complications in observation group was lower than control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The time of operation, time of getting out of bed, time of urinary tube extubation, time of chest tube extubation and length of hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the hospitalization cost in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in preoperative peak expiratory flow (PEF), 6 min walking distance and resting oxygen saturation (SpO2) between two groups (P>0.05). PEF, 6 min walking distance and SpO2 at rest in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The intervention of patients undergoing thoracoscopic lung cancer surgery with the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery can significantly reduce the rate of infection and complications, and promote improved lung function and postoperative recovery.
