Research progress of miRNA-381 in malignant tumors

Abstract：miRNA is a kind of noncoding RNA,which plays a very important role in cell proliferation,apoptosis and differentiation.The miRNA-381 (hsa-miR-381) is a kind of new micrornas which is identified in recent years.The encoded gene,originally found in the stomach,which belongs to the miR-154 gene family,is on the long arm of chromosome 14.Several studies have shown that miR-381 has abnormal expression in lung cancer,liver cancer,colon cancer,malignant tumors and other osteosarcoma,which plays an important role in the occurrence and progress of tumor.This paper summarizes the research progress of miR-381 in multiple malignant tumors.
